Our variety of services gives you the opportunity to select the service which is most ideal for you. We also offer a service for couples who have processed the application themselfs with the Agency of Family Law and are run into problems. No matter which of our services you choose, you can be sure that we will take good care of you. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us by email or via our contact page

To get you started, we offer to send you a preliminary list of documents to collect for free. You will have to answer some personal questions. Based on your answers we will send you a list of documents and information on how we can help you getting married in Denmark. 

Basic

Personal advice and help with the essential documents. You handle the application process and book wedding ceremony. 

You pay the application fee of € 220.

You will be provide with a detailed list of documents to collect including the requirements each document needs to meet. The list will be tailored to your specific circumstances. 

If you have any questions while you are collecting the documents, we are ready to assist you. 

After you have collected the documents we will review them and make sure no obvious information is missing. 

When your papers are ready you submit the application and pay the government fee yourself. We will provide you with details of how to submit the application.

After you have received your approval from the Agency of Family Law contact us, and we will let you know how to book your wedding date.

After the ceremony you will receive two marriage certificates. These will be in five languages (Danish, English, German, French and Spanish). 

If you have chosen the Apostille/legalisation add-on we will inform you what to do with the marriage certificate depending on which city you are getting married in. 

Danish taxes and VAT is included.

Standard

We handle the entire process from start to finish. You only do what we cannot lawfully do for you. 

We pay the application fee of € 220.

You will be provide with a detailed list of documents to collect including the requirements each document needs to meet. The list will be tailored to your specific circumstances. 

If you have any questions while you are collecting the documents, we are ready to assist you. 

After you have collected the documents we will review them and make sure no obvious information is missing. 

 

When the documents are previewed, we hand in the application and pay the government fee on your behalf.

The application fee that The Agency for Family Law currently asks for is € 220. We will pay this fee on your behalf when we submit the application. 

We handle all correspondence with The Agency of Family Law. 

This means that if they have any questions or further requirements to the application they will inform us, after which we will contact you and advise you on what changes or additions are required.

After your application has been approved by the Agency of Family Law. We will book your wedding date at your preferred City Hall.

After the ceremony you will receive two marriage certificates. These will be in five languages (Danish, English, German, French and Spanish). 

If you have chosen the Apostille/legalisation add-on you will have to bring the certificates to one of our partners (more information and address will be provided). We collect the certifications from our partner and start the Apostille/legalisation process. 

The non-refundable application fee of € 220 that the Agency of Family Law requires to process your application is included, because we submit the application and therefore pay this fee on your behalf.

Additional Services

 A danish marriage is recognised and legal worldwide. However, some countries require that your marriage certificate either has an Apostille stamp or has to be legalised for it to be valid as a legal document. We advise you to check beforehand with the Embassy of the country in which your marriage certificate should serve as a legal document to know their requirements. 

Our HELP service is for couples that have not chosen us as their wedding agency and are run into problems with the Agency of Family Law themselves.

Having trouble after handing in your application to the Agency of Family Law yourself?

We will familiarise us with your case and asses how to go forward.

After you have filled out a Power of Attorney  we will start the communication with the Agency of Family Law. 

A power of attorney is necessary befor we can communicate with the Agency of Family Law on your behalf.

Danish taxes and VAT is included.

Payment Conditions

We require full payment at the time of booking. The services Basic, Standard and HELP are non-refundable. For the Premium service the main part of the service is also non-refundable (the parts corresponding to the Standard service). The remaining services in the Premium service can be cancelled no later than 14 working days prior to the confirmed wedding date. If you have received any assistance during the application periode the amount that is refundable might be minimised accordingly.

The Apostille and Legalisation services will have to be payed at the time of booking. These services can be cancelled no later than 14 day prior to the wedding.
