About

At Marriage Denmark we help international couples getting married in an easy and simple way. We believe in love across borders and that it should be easy to marry the one you love. Getting married in a foreign country can be associated with uncertainty, language barriers and plenty of questions. Spending time learning about a foreign country’s regulation and bureaucracy is not an easy nor fun way of starting your marriage.

At Marriage Denmark we are experts in dealing with bureaucracy. Our main service is to help you with the bureaucracy and paperwork. This means we stay updated with the law and other requirements from the Danish and European authorities. This knowledge we use to continually update our service and to provide you with a solution that is tailored to your specific circumstances.

Our goal is to be your preferred partner when getting married in Denmark. Therefore we welcome any questions and requests from your side and we will do our best to meet them – also if you have special requests. Just send us an email and we will get back to you.

We are a small team of friends and family that live in different cities around Denmark. We are situated in all three major parts of Denmark. In Jutland we are located in Ribe, at Fyn we are located in Odense and at Zealand we are located in Copenhagen/Frederiksberg. This gives us local knowlege not just of the cities we live in but also the areas around.

We can help you getting married in any city of your preferences, also the ones we are not personally located in. We have a great knowledge about Denmark that we are happy to share with you, and we have a good relationship with the local municipalities, registrations offices and city halls.

Ribe Old City Hall - Get Married in Denmark in a Historical City

I grew up in Ribe and moved to Italy after collage to learn Italian. I worked in the service and hospitality sector in Italy and Austria for several seasons. Ski-guide in the Dolimites and Zillertal and wine waiter in Montalcino – tasting a lot of Brunello di Montalcino and the lovely Italian food. When not working the seasonal jobs I studied political science in Aarhus, Denmark. After I got my bachelor degree I traveled around the world to explore Thailand, Nepal, Tibet and Cambodia. I returned to Denmark, where I settled down in Copenhagen, where I got a job at a hotel, which was a perfect job to learn more about Copenhagen. I also started to study a master in economics at this time, but before I finished that degree I made a detour to Dubai, where I worked for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Back home in Denmark with more experiences and a finished degree, I am now ready for new adventures where I can meet people from all over the world, and putting my serviceminded personality to good use by helping you getting married with the one you love.
